Making Lifelong Diet Change Realistic

I really do believe that best and most effective way to successfully change the way you eat overall,is by doing it gradually. You really must avoid taking drastic steps and making huge changes before you are realistically ready to do so. And, I would highly recommended that you should NEVER EVER totally deny yourself particular foods that you really love and crave. Because if you slowly start buy and eating more and more fresh fruits and veggies in your daily diet, you will eventually get to the point where you just simply start to lose those cravings (i.e. addictions) that you once had! As a matter of fact, you eventually will be amazed at yourself, when you do decide to have some of your old favorite unhealthy foods...and then you quickly realize that it really isn't as great as you remember and you begin to wonder why you use to like so much! But, this shift in your taste palette is definitely something that should NOT BE rushed. Because, if you all of a sudden quit the foods you still really love and crave, then you will eventually give up on the belief that a life long transformation in your overall diet is possible for you. Your cravings will start to intensity to the point that they will be all that you can think of...and eventually you will "give in" and the feelings of guilt and defeat can and will make you feel as though you might as well just give up the whole idea of realistically making any permanent changes. To be continued... -Tres Dad Fat Rob.
