The Great Green Smoothie Gets You Going

More from the thug kitchen...getcha one!


     Me personally, I have a freezer full of fresh greens (like kale, spinach, green/red leaf, or any other greens for examples), broccoli, and I even freeze bananas (don't peel, just run COLD water on them a minute and the peel comes right off...they keep better & stay perfect inside!). In the fridge I gots apples, carrots, tomatoes, grapes (or any thing else that I like)...and I use Blue Diamond coconut/almond milk (the milk has a lil cane sugar for taste). I add bananas until it taste good usually. And sometimes I add protein powder (I use 365 brand from Whole Foods, 'cause some of them is nasty mayne!).
     I usually mix a large amount of everything in the blender, freeze it...and then just break off pieces and add more coconut/almond milk in a blender...it taste better frozen to me!!! I instantly feel energized every time...FORGET ENERGY DRINKS THAT JUST HAVE CAFFEINE FOR ENERGY!!!

SPINACH COOLER
Ectoplasm free and Dr. Venkman approved

2 handfuls of spinach (about 2 cups)
2 frozen bananas
1 cup chopped and skinned cucumber
4 medium chunks of pineapple
1 cup coconut water or tap
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon flax oil (optional)
6-8 mint leaves (optional, but I dig that shit)
yields ~20 ounces

Toss that shit in a blender and zap it. If you prefer it a little sweeter, add some more pineapple to that shit. DRINK UP, CHAMP.
