I Loves Me Some Auntie Barboo & Her Amazing Shares for Us!!!
From:
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV)
Know someone who digs gardening? We're betting you do, because gardening is one of the most popular hobbies. Chris Olsen shared some great gift ideas for the gardener in your life on THV 11 This Morning—handmade scrubs and lotions.
These are both great gift ideas and very simple! They are both usually made to make several, so be sure to buy jars or other containers to put them in!
HAND SCRUB
This is a very simple project and is great for rough hands. The scrub contains ingredients that are healthy for your skin and makes them smooth. This can also be used as a feet or body scrub as well!
Here's what You'll Need:
- 1 cup granulated Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice- 1/2 lemon
- 2 sprigs Rosemary
Directions:
1. Pour sugar into a medium sized bowl, grate the zest of lemon into sugar.
2. Pull rosemary leaves off stem, rip or chop them into smaller pieces.
3. Stir in sugar, olive oil, and lemon juice until all ingredients are well combined. Scoop mixture into a jar with a wide opening so your hands will fit in.
